Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid rustled cattle through the badlands here. Tom Horn, the enforcer for the powerful cattle barons, followed them over the Outlaw Trail around Baggs, Wy. and Juniper Hot Springs, CO. You will be riding through some of the same rugged mountain country on these tours. The landscape is different each day and spectacular in it's natural splendid beauty. You can count on our professional attitude, intimate knowledge of the area and all the species of wildlife you may encounter through the tour.

There are over 1400 head of wild mustangs in these areas and seeking them out, riding or driving in and around them is the central attraction of this slow paced western ride.

These are the true thing. Free roaming B.L.M., federally protected WILD HORSES. Not some dude ranches tamed brood mares used just for breeding on the dude ranch. Where they try and pre-stage everything for you. These wild horses are the real thing.

Horse Back Riding Tour
3-5 day horseback riding tour with guides in the middle of wild horse country. Days of the week of your choice, spring, summer or fall only. Sorry, no winter touring on horseback, it's just too cold.

The horseback riding tour is for the inexperienced riders capable of keeping up with a herd of wandering wild horses. Riding tours can also be set up for the moderate riding experienced trail riders looking to hoot and holler their way back on horse back into the 'ole west. Where the outlaws had their ways, where the settlers encountered a very hard life. It is a wild and remote, lightly populated region of great western beauty.

Ride up, ride down, ride across the country. Over and through creeks, in canyons, ravines, the very stuff of what western legends are made of. Wild Horse Tours trail rides are for those of you looking for some excitement in your life. Between declines and ascents, you will be riding through wide varying terrain. Each trail offers up it's own special visual and historical highlights.

Each horse and rider pair are carefully matched. (All riders are encouraged to get to know their horses.) Safety for horse and rider will always determine the limits of the pace on all trail rides. My guides and I reserve the right to control the pace at all times. All riders should be able to spend 5-8 hours in the saddle each day. Riding comfortably for horse and rider, at a walk. (Limit 4 clients.)

4x4 Vehicle Tour - Non Professional
One day 4x4 vehicle tours for the wild horses begins at approximately 8:00am (or as late as 2:00pm, summertime only). Sack lunches and dinners will be furnished.
Each 4x4 vehicle tour lasts 6-8 hours and covers about 200-250 miles of the high desert.

Cowgirls Delite:
We reserve one week a year for women (cowgirls) only for the wild horse riding tours. NO MALES.

All of our 4x4 or horse back riding tours are reserved on a first come first serve basis and openings are limited. If you wish to reserve your wild horse tour date for a specific time or for the best choice of days or week, you should make your reservations as early as possible. Come spend one of your vacation days on a 4x4 vehicle wild horse tour or up to the whole week with us touring the wild horses on horse back, western style. (Limit 4 female clients.)

Professional Photographer Workshop Tours:
A 3-7 day, in the high desert of N.W. Colorado, 4x4 guided, wild horse and landscape photo tour.
Accommodations and transportation: While on the wild horse and landscape photo tour all meals are included in the price of the tour. Accommodating groups of 3-8. The price will include your room, all meals while on tour and a fully guided 4x4 wild horse tour.
